The SPTO in figures

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) has recently published ‘The SPTO in figures’, a new leaflet giving the main data on Industrial Property and an overview of the activities relating to the various types of protection in the field of Industrial Property during 2012.

This publication, which aims to be a quick reference guide, is to be updated every year. Provides information on patents, utility models, trademarks and industrial designs. Data are given on any applications filed and published, and the tables and graphs give an idea of trends in comparison with the two previous years.

‘The SPTO in figures’ includes data on the main applicants according to the different types of Industrial Property and, in addition, offers information on international and regional applications originating in Spain.
