Study visit of the Egyptian Patent Office to the OEPMWithin the framework of the twinning project - Twinning - between the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (OEPM) and the Egyptian Patent Office (EGPO) to improve the institutional, technical and awareness-raising capacities of the EGPO, funded by the European Union, a study visit took place from November 29 to December 2. During this visit, the Egyptian delegation, in collaboration with OEPM staff, learned about the operation of the OEPM, the national patent system and the relationship with other Spanish organizations and institutions. Participants had the opportunity to share experiences on various aspects of industrial property. These types of visits involve mutual learning, since sharing experiences is always beneficial for both parties, opening up new perspectives on how the same problems are addressed internationally. The aim of this activity is to contribute to the final objective of the project: to increase patent applications from Egyptian inventors, especially within the scientific community; For this, from the hand of specialists from the OEPM as hosts, they have been able to learn about the functioning of the research institutions of our country.
