Call for the 2022 Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) Selective Process

Do you want to work at the SPTO? In the Official State Gazette (BOE) of February 18, 2022, the call for the selective process for the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, specialized in Industrial Property, of the SPTO was published.

The distribution by branches and areas of the open positions (15 in total) are as follows:

A) Technical Branch:

• Mechanical area: Three positions.
• Electrical area: Two positions.
• Chemical area: Two positions.

B) Computer Branch: Three positions.

C) Legal Branch: Five positions.

The first exercise will be held before June 18, 2022. In any case, the date, time and place of the first exercise will be published within the resolution approving the provisional list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selection process. This resolution will be published at the beginning of April and will be announced on the SPTO website.
