Course OEPM-UIMP- XVI Seminar of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A.: "The future of industrial property, in light of the 30 years of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office"

This summer the summer courses will be held again, specifically the 16th edition of the seminar of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. This Summer Course organized jointly by the OEPM and the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) will take place at the UIMP headquarters in Santander from July 25 to 29, 2022.

In this edition, the theme will be “The future of industrial property, in light of the 30 years of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office”. The purpose of the seminar is to analyze the challenges that we face in relation to industrial property in matters such as Artificial Intelligence, the Economic Indicators of Industrial Property, the European Union Action Plan or Inventions in technological sectors such as biotechnology or Essential Patents.

In addition, the challenges for the future of Industrial Property will be analyzed from the perspective of the experience of the last 30 years of the OEPM.

This course constitutes each year a strategic meeting forum for the leaders of Industrial Property, national and European.

The seminar is aimed at students, SMEs, OTRI employees and Industrial Property professionals or those who wish to approach or deepen in this field.
