New developments in the English-Spanish Automatic Translator on esp@cenet.
Thanks to the intense co-operation between the EPO and the SPTO in the field of automatic translation, new technical dictionaries are being loaded in the English-to-Spanish translator on esp@cenet, adding 60,000 new validated terms and notably increasing the quality of the translations obtained.
The dictionaries are selected automatically based on the internal patent classification assigned to the document, thus differentiating the terminology related to each particular technology.

Despite the obvious improvement to the quality of the translation obtained, the system requires feedback to improve and adapt it constantly. For this purpose, you are invited to send translation proposals (terms and expressions) to doliveira@epo.org in order to include them in future dictionaries.

The total number of documents translated for the English-Spanish pair is 19,485.
As regards other language pairs, the number of documents translated in the English-German pair is 22,595 and 95,935 documents in the German-English pair.
