ProtegeO C2O Web Service (version 0.5.0)

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), in its efforts to enable third party application developers to process applications related to distinctive signs, inventions, industrial designs, etc. in an automated way, is making the ProtegeO C2O Web Service available. At the moment, it offers the possibility of processing applications and renewals for Trademarks and Trade Names through this web service.

Documentation about this Web Service, which provides help to application developers with respect to the XML format used, the format of calls, etc. for use in external formats, is being published.

To use this service, it is necessary to fill out the corresponding form requesting access and credentials (user name and password) from the SPTO.
