INVENES Y DISEÑOS Web Service (version 1.0)

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) in its goal of publicising the technological information contained in patent documents, is providing for its users the Web Service for Spanish inventions database, INVENES Y DISEÑOS, which contains information on Spanish and Latin American patents and utility models as well as on Spanish industrial designs.

The INVENES Y DISEÑOS Web service acts as a technical and functional manual describing the details of design, implementation and use of the search services provided by INVENES Y DISEÑOS for use both by SPTO applications and by external users.

This Web service offers its users a safe search mechanism that is independent from the web environment, with the necessary functions for searching patent documents.

In order to use this service you must fill out the corresponding form to request a User name and password from the SPTO
