What items are essential for an application for a trademark or trade name in order to obtain a submission date?

The minimum documentation to be presented consists of:

  • A trademark application.
  • The applicant's identification.
  • The designation of the trademark or trade name, when it is simply a denominative trademark or trade name, or a design if it is graphic or mixed.
  • The products or services to which the trademark refers or the activities in the case of a trade name.
  • The application can be completed at a later date, but the submission date will be that on which at least the aforementioned items were presented.
