When will an opposition to a trademark be recorded on the file legal status database?

The term for filing an opposition to a trademark application is two months from the date on which notice of said application was published in the BOPI.

However, the process for recording and adding filed oppositions to the database is not an on-line process. Oppositions filed directly with the SPTO will take approximately one week to be recorded on the database; whereas those filed with other competent bodies outside the SPTO, but within the relevant term, must first be received by the SPTO before being recorded on the database, and as a result may take several days longer.
