The films or coatings, upon exposure to an oxidizing chemical for 8 weeks at 40°C and ambient humidity, may dissolve fully or achieve 90% dissolution at times of less than 10 minutes. The water soluble films and coatings may advantageously be used with oxidizing chemicals while maintaining water solubility, acceptable color, and flexibility, such as in unit dose packaging, even over extended exposure periods.
