According to the method disclosed by the invention, the content of astaxanthin in haematococcus pluvialis is remarkably increased, and when the concentration of added proline is 100 mu mol/L, the content and yield of the astaxanthin in microalgae are 42.77 mg/g and 3.27 mg/L/d respectively, which are increased by 61.40% and 55.45% compared with those of a control group.
