New edition of the Industrial Property Administrative Management Course (Paralegals)

Being aware of the importance of an adequate training, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) and the School of Industrial Organization, F.S.P. (EOI) support the Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa Chair of Innovation and Industrial Property, whose ultimate purpose is to facilitate the transfer of mutual knowledge between companies and Universities.

Within this framework, the 12th edition of the Course on Administrative Management of Industrial Property (Paralegals) will begin on January 22nd. This course, aimed at professionals of Industrial Property Agencies, staff of Industrial Property Departments of companies, OTRIS of Universities, Technology Parks, and OPIS, etc. and in general to all professionals interested in the management of Industrial Property, will take place in virtual format during the months of January to May 2024, and will consist, as usual, of 5 independent modules.

The registration for each module is independent of the others and it is possible to register up to the starting date of each of them.

 The main objectives of the course are:

• To offer the participant a theoretical and practical training in Industrial Property, inventions, distinctive signs and designs.
• To provide in-depth training on all relevant aspects of the Spanish protection systems.
• To provide continuous and structured training on international protection systems: European, PCT, USA, Chinese, etc.
• To promote the exchange of experiences between the different sectors involved at national and international level.
