Do I have to be a national of one of the Contracting States to sign up for the EQE?

No, you do not need to be a citizen of a Contracting State to sign up for the EQE. However, to be included in the list of professional representatives, you need to satisfy the conditions set out in Article 134 of the European Patent Convention (EPC).
