The heat-storage medium partially or fully enters the low-level tank from the high-level tank according to own gravity. The low-level tank is provided with a transfer pump. The heat-storage medium is pumped out of the low-level tank by means of the transfer pump. The present invention solves the problems of cost, operational and maintenance cost caused by a vertical long-axis submerged molten salt pump, avoiding the safety hazards of large and small tanks or high and low tank designs.
