State of progress in IP during the first half of 2016
A recent study compares the data from the first half of 2016 with the same period for 2015 for the different types of Industrial Property. The results look promising for Spanish society.
The trend has been positive for all types, especially Industrial Designs and Utility Models, which grew by 20.19% and 7.69% respectively. Applications for national Patents increased by 0.78%, reversing the downward trend seen over previous years. National Trademarks and Brand Names also grew by 5.11% and 4.37%, respectively.
