The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) has opened the public consultation period on the National and Comprehensive Plan to combat the sale of counterfeit products and for the observance of industrial property rights 2023-2026.

Filing of patent applications containing nucleotide and amino acid sequence listings in accordance with WIPO Standard ST.26

The General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which took place from October 4 to 8, 2021, approved that the date of generalized transition to WIPO Standard ST.26 at the national, regional and for the presentation of lists of nucleotide and amino acid sequences contained in patent applications was established on July 1, 2022.

De esta manera, los empresarios, a través de los signos distintivos y en uso del derecho a la libertad de expresión, transmiten un mensaje determinado. Pero, ¿dónde está el límite? ¿cuál es el límite entre una expresión malsonante o irónica que puede tener cabida en la sociedad y moralidad vigente y un signo contrario al orden público y a las buenas costumbres?
