XXI Annual Meeting of Regional Information Centers on Industrial Property

On November 7 and 8, the XXI annual meeting of Regional Information Centers on Industrial Property (CCRR) took place in Valencia.

This annual meeting serves as a meeting point between the SPTO and the regional centers, allowing relations between all the institutions to be close and fluid.

The meeting coincided with the V Congress of Connected Industry, and in addition to being able to attend the congress, the participants from the CCRR had the opportunity to attend presentations and specific meetings for them.

The sessions, presented by OEPM personnel, dealt with new legislation on patents and industrial designs and on the invalidity and expiration of trademarks, arousing great interest among the participants.

The last part was dedicated to the casuistry of each one of the centers, during which experiences and their projection for the future could be shared.

This meeting made it possible to strengthen the existing ties between the SPTO and the Regional Centers, as well as to reinforce the synergies and areas of collaboration between the different entities.
