Accreditations granted to new class of Industrial Property Agents

A new promotion of enthusiastic Industrial Property Agents is ready to help individuals, SMEs and companies of all kinds to register and enforce their IP rights.

This month, accreditations have been granted to those candidates who have successfully passed the aptitude exam that accredits them with the necessary knowledge to practice this professional activity in Spain.

These agents acquire the professional qualifications and legal knowledge necessary to advise, assist or even represent third parties in the procedures for obtaining registrations in the various types of IP titles. As well as to defend the rights derived from the prior obtaining of such titles before any Spanish, Community or international Administration competent in IP matters.

Obtaining IP Agent accreditation is a demanding procedure that requires accrediting advanced knowledge of law. Therefore, we at the SPTO would like to congratulate all those candidates who have finally achieved it.

However, this is not the end of the road, but rather the beginning. Now begins an exciting professional stage, full of challenges, but also of opportunities for growth and development, always at the service of Industrial Property rights.
