Approval of the 2023 follow-up reports on the SPTO’s Annual Operating Plan and Service ChartersThe Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) has approved the final monitoring report of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) 2023, corresponding to the Strategic Plan 2021 – 2024 and the Annual Monitoring Report of the Office’s Service Charters. The purpose of these reports is to evaluate compliance with the commitments made to respond to the needs of citizens and the demand for transparency in public activity. The results of the implementation of the Operational Plan have been very positive, with 81% of projects implemented and 82% of results achieved. Of the 43 projects included in the AOP 2023, 25 projects have carried out all the activities planned for 2023. The delay in the fulfilment of the remaining projects was due to the prioritisation of activities or other justified causes, so these activities will continue this year. Service charters are documents that inform citizens of the quality commitments acquired in the provision of services and of their rights in relation to these. The SPTO has the following Services Charters, which can be consulted on the Office’s website:
