Paralegales, Course on Industrial Property Administrative ManagementOnce again, and this is the thirteenth year, we are launching together with the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) the “Paralegales” course. It offers theoretical and practical training in industrial property for professionals of Industrial Property agencies and departments, for the staff of Research Results Transfer Offices (OTRIs) or for anyone who is interested in these topics. The course is structured in five modules that can be taken independently if desired. In the mornings, the training will focus on the theoretical part and the afternoon will be devoted to practical training. - Module 1: focuses on the meaning of Industrial Property and its management as a key to the protection of intangible assets and on the information services of the OEPM (from November 11 to 14, 2024). - Module 2: will deal with the application and granting procedure of a patent and a utility model (from November 16 to 19, 2024). - Module 3: the procedure for processing a European patent application will be explained (from January 13 to 17, 2025). - Module 4: PCT application procedure before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the OEPM (from February 18 to 20, 2025). - Module 5: Addresses the study of distinctive signs and design as a means of generating business value. This course is one of the initiatives that are part of the “Cátedra de Innovación y Propiedad Industrial Carlos Fernández-Novoa”.
