Two talks will be given by SPTO experts under the following titles: ‘Who can help me (preferably free of charge) with Industrial Property?’; and ‘Industrial Property as a tool for business internationalisation: Trademarks, Designs and Patents’

SPTO participation in upcoming trade fairs

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office is to be present at TRANSFIERE, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation to be held at the Congress and Trade Fair Centre in Malaga, Spain, on 15 and 16 February 2017. It will also attend the 8th edition of the MiEmpresa Salon to be held in Madrid on 21 and 22 February this year.

TRANSFIERE
This event was conceived as a space for promoting transfers and cooperation between scientific and business circles. Scientists from universities and from public and private research centres will be able to pass on the knowledge they generate to companies and productive agents in the R&D+I sector. SMEs and micro-enterprises will have the opportunity to show their products and services to large companies that need technology. There will be an SPTO stand, and appointments can be made on-line.

MiEmpresa Salon
Organised by Creaventure, the MiEmpresa Salon is the leading annual event for entrepreneurs, self-employed workers, micro-enterprises and SMEs. Most of the institutions, associations and support networks that back businesses in Spain participate. It amounts to an excellent platform for private enterprises wishing to launch services or products for SMEs or to make themselves known.

The SPTO will be sharing a stand with CEVIPYME, the Centre for support for SMEs in Industrial and Intellectual Property and Innovation, to which it belongs. Information will be given on the services provided by the SPTO and, in general, on how to deal with Industrial Property.

In addition, two talks will be given by SPTO experts under the following titles: ‘Who can help me (preferably free of charge) with Industrial Property?’ (Tuesday 22 February); and ‘Industrial Property as a tool for business internationalisation: Trademarks, Designs and Patents’ (Wednesday 22 February).
