First Latin American Bulletin on Technological Information in the Wind Energy Sector
The 4th Latin American Bulletin on Technological Information, the first in the wind energy sector, has now been published. It lists the patents presented in the countries that belong to the IBEPI Programme which were published during the first half of 2016. The bulletin can be found on the IBEPI Programme website and on the SPTO website via the CIBEPYME Platform.
The Latin American Programme on Industrial Property and Development Promotion (IBEPI), which falls within the framework of the Latin American Knowledge Space, promotes the strategic use of Industrial Property as a tool for the development and integration of Latin American States, and encourages the sharing of good practices for using IP systems. It also aims to strengthen the role of Spanish and Portuguese as languages for technology, an aim which is shared by the bulletins.
In the latest bulletin, Spain shows that it is a leader in this technical field, being the country of origin of 20 of the 121 publications during this six-month period. Only Denmark and Germany published more.
