New Cooperation Agreement between the SPTO and the IEPI (Ecuador)

The Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office (SPTO) and the Ecuadorian Intellectual Property Institute (IEPI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of an Institutional Cooperation Programme in the field of Industrial Property.

This Agreement defines the cooperation framework between both offices in order to strengthen the protection of Industrial Property rights in both countries.

This Cooperation includes numerous activities such as the exchange of training programmes in information technology searches, the training of patent examiners, or the development of computer applications and systems for the management of IP rights.
