Course on Industrial Property Administrative Management (Paralegals)Specialized training The paralegal figure, also known as legal assistant, comes from the British and North American legal systems and reaches more relevance in Spain each day. Paralegal tasks mix the administrative management with certain responsibilities of a legal nature and are supervised by a lawyer. The SPTO and the Spanish School for Industrial Organization (EOI, by its Spanish acronym) have been organizing the ‘Course on Industrial Property Administrative Management (Paralegals)’ for several years in order to offer a specialized training to these professionals or whoever has a similar role in the field of Industrial Property: employees of Industrial Property Agencies, staff of the Industrial Property Department of companies, University OTRIS (Offices for Research Results Transfer), Technology Parks, OPIS (Public Research Organizations) and all professionals interested in Industrial Property management. The 9th edition of the Course will take place in Madrid between September 16th and November 2019. As usual, the course consists of 5 independent modules; thus, register for the full course will not be necessary being possible the enrolment by modules until the starting date of each. We would like to highlight that the course is part of the activities of the ‘Cátedra Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa’ of Innovation and Industrial Property, whose purpose is to promote a formative and informative integrated system in order to simplify the mutual transfer of knowledge between companies and Universities.
