Intellectual and Industrial Property and young people: Innovate for a better future

Since the year 2000, when the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed April 26 as World Intellectual Property Day, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has promoted this initiative with the aim of disseminating and establishing a international industrial and intellectual property balanced and effective.

Public consultation on the international harmonization of patent law

The OEPM participates in Group B+ created within the framework of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to promote and facilitate progress on the key issues being examined at WIPO and, in particular, to advance in the substantive harmonization of the Patent law, with the OEPM being one of the participants in this subgroup.

Record number of European patent applications with Spanish origin according to the 2021 Patent Index of the European Patent Office

During the month of April, the European Patent Office (EPO) published the statistical data corresponding to the 2021 Patent Index, which includes the number of European patent applications filed in said office during the past year.
