Almost nine million forged objects confiscated during 2011

In 2011, the Spanish police force carried out 2,348 operations and arrested or charged 2,101 people for crimes against Industrial and Intellectual Property.
8.79 million objects valued at over 694 million euros were confiscated.

Agreements on Industrial Property: AIMEN, SERCOBE and GAMESA

As part of its policy to promote the use and integration of Industrial Property, the OEPM has signed a number of agreements for collaboration with various firms and business associations.

Cooperation between OEPM and the OHIM

Cooperation between the OEPM and the Office for Harmonization of the Internal Market (OHIM) for 2012 includes the following projects: Agreement for Technical Cooperation, the Cooperation Fund, the Convergence Programme and TM-View.

Preparatory meeting for the 22nd Latin American Summit

The preparatory meeting for the 22nd Latin American Summit of Heads of State and Prime Ministers is to be held in Cadiz on 16 and 17 July, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the signature of the 1812 Constitution.
