New tool for translating patents

The European Patents Office and Google have launched an optimised automatic translation system for translating patents, ‘Patent Translate’. This new tool includes Spanish as one of the language for two-way translation of patents documents.

In addition to Spanish, ‘Patent Translate’ includes English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Swedish. It will soon include the 28 languages of the EU plus Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian.
