Publication of the first edition of the 2018 OEPM electronic Bulletin on national Case Law on Industrial Property

The case law on Industrial Property is rich and varied. Moreover, if we add to it the resolutions of intellectual property and unfair competition, the interest multiplies. For that reason, from the OEPM we have decided to initiate a series of periodical publications with the most relevant judgments on industrial property, intellectual property, and unfair competition.

The Bulletin is structured following the different subjects: trademarks, denominations of origin, patents, intellectual property, and unfair competition.

It includes the rulings of different courts and tribunals that offer a global vision of the practice in this field in the different jurisdictions. Furthermore, in order for the content of the newsletter to meet the information needs of its users, judgments are referenced both in the field of registration of the different types of industrial property and in the IPR enforcement matters.

Ultimately, the purpose of the newsletter is to begin the creation of a collection of publications that systematizes and mentions outstanding rulings in such a way as to keep users informed and updated on this matter.
