New agreements signed by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO)Collaboration between institutions is essential for the advancement of society in general and the country's economy. This is very clear to us, as SPTO: that is why we promote the signing of different agreements with different entities. Consequently, over the last few days the signing of up to 7 agreements has taken place, with organizations dedicated to areas as diverse as food, water, furniture and metals, plastic or solar energy, among others. The purpose of these agreements is to promote the competitiveness of Spanish industry in the field of innovation and its protection through Industrial Property (IP). To this end, the corresponding resolutions contemplate carrying out joint activities, including training sessions on IP rights, which aim to publicize the use of the technological information services offered by the SPTO, the protection mechanisms of the results of research and technological development. In addition, the SPTO offers them the necessary support in the protection of their intangible assets in order to facilitate, promote and stimulate the knowledge and use of IP rights. Undoubtedly, these agreements will be a very useful cooperation tool for the promotion of IP and its benefits in the scientific, economic and social development of our country. More information
