Meeting of the Consultative Committees of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce with the President of the European Patent Office

In September, the President of the European Patent Office (EPO), Antonio Campinos visit Spain, and different acts and events took place.

One of these events was the meeting organized by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO), in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

This meeting took place on September 14, both online and face-to-face format, at the headquarters of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, in Madrid.

Said event consisted of a meeting with different companies, public and private institutions and scientific and university institutions, as well as with the representatives of the three commissions established within the Chamber of Commerce: Universities, R&D&I and Industry.

The meeting was an open debate between companies and the President and delegation of the EPO. The attendees asked questions and discussed the most relevant aspects related to European patents and the EPO itself.

The event also included the participation of the Director of the SPTO, José Antonio Gil Celedonio.
