I'm original, I don't buy fakes

Last July, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office
began to disseminate the awareness campaign against industrial piracy: “I'm original. I don't
buy fakes”
developed within the framework of
activities of the Intersectorial Commission for acting against activities that violate industrial property rights, and financed in equal parts by the SPTO and the Spanish National Trademark Defence Association (ANDEMA).

The campaign, whose aim is to make consumers
aware of the importance of the proper
protection of industrial property rights and the
dangers of piracy
, has focused on developing several materials -leaflets, stickers and pins- to be distributed among several target groups: consumers in general,
housewives, teenagers and university students.

The first phase of publicizing this project has been carried out by Town Halls of local Municipalities,
where there's been a very favorable response,
therefore resulting in plans to redistribute the material.
