Electronic filing of Administrative Appeals

The new program for electronically filing administrative appeals began functioning at the end of July of this year. The first appeal was filed in July and, rapidly progressing afterwards, electronic filing already represented 20% of all appeals presented in the month of September. Electronic filing facilitates procedures and represents a paper savings, as well as prevents users from having to move from one place to another.

On the one hand, the new program forms part of a series of measures aimed at complying with the Electronic Administration Law and, on the other, improving service; having for the moment achieved significant improvements in average timeframes required for appeal resolution.

The program allows for simple presentation by filing in a series of blanks, whereby files with allegations and complementary documentation can also be attached and serves for all appeals; from the simplest to the most complex.
