Creation of the Fernández-Nóvoa Endowed Chair in Innovation and Industrial Property

On April 26, World Intellectual Property Day -created in 2000 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)- the presentation of the Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa Endowed Chair in Innovation and Industrial Property took place as a result of the collaboration of two agencies within the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trad  with great experience in the field of teaching: the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) business school, and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO).

Administrative Management Course on Industrial Property (Paralegals)

The EOI, in collaboration with the SPTO, offers this course on Administrative Management of Industrial Property (Paralegals), which forms part of the activities of the newly created Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa Endowed Chair in Innovation and Industrial Property.

The Leading Brands Forum Recognizes the New Honorary Ambassadors of Spanish Brands  

The Prince and Princess of Asturias presided over the accreditation ceremony of the fourth annual Honorary Ambassadors of Spanish Brands.

SPTO-UIMP Summer Course

The course will focus on Innovation, Patents and Company Internationalization highlighting the need to make strategic use of Industrial Property instruments of protection as differentiation and specialization factors for companies.
