Inclusion of Spanish IP legislation in ‘WIPO Lex’

The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), in collaboration with the Spanish Patents and Trade Marks Office (OEPM), has included in its legal data base the full texts of the legislation that creates the legal framework for Industrial Property in Spain.

Search for Spanish inventions based on Google technology

The OEPM offers a patent search service based on the Google Search Appliance (GSA) technology. This is a device produced by Google that uses its algorithm to index contents as determined by an organization.  

The Nice Classification: New data base

The Spanish Patents and Trade Marks Office (OEPM) and the Office for Harmonization of the Internal Market (OHIM) have reached an agreement to offer their users a common, harmonized data base in Spanish of products and services for registering trade marks.

CCD: New citation search tool

The European Patent Office, the United States Office for Patents and Trade Marks and the Japanese Patent Office have set up the CCD which allows access to the results of patent searches performed for a single application in these offices.
