Spain rises three positions in the Global Innovation Index 2013

According to the Global Innovation Index 2013, published jointly by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Cornell University and the INSEAD Business School, Spain has risen three levels since 2012 and is now ranked at 26th position.

The Global Innovation Index 2013 covers 142 economies from all over the world and uses 84 indicators for the quality of the main universities, microfunding availability and venture capital agreements. Such indicators assess capacity and results in the field of innovation.

The Global Innovation Index, which has been published annually since 2007, has become the main reference tool for executives, politicians and other people interested in obtaining information on the state of innovation on a global level.
