New free service to facilitate the filing of Industrial Designs

As part of the Support Service for SMEs and Entrepreneurs and with the aim of assisting Industrial Design applicants to file their applications, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) has set up an initiative so that applicants wishing to file an application electronically and receive the discount in the application fee can do so in the SPTO headquarters with the help of its personnel.

Requirements
In order to be eligible for this service, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Use a credit card to pay the application fee.
  • In order to speed up the process and avoid mistakes, it is recommended that images be produced in digital format.

    • The service will be provided at the Information Desk, from Monday to Friday from 0900 to 1400.
