Innovative services for Industrial Design applicants
The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), in cooperation with the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM), has set up a new service within the framework of the OHIM Cooperation Fund.
This service allows the following formalities to be carried out electronically:
- Renovation of Industrial Designs (standard and express)
- Change of name/address of the applicant
- Assignment of rights
File consultation
A new service called CEO: Consulta de Expedientes OPEM was created on 23 November allowing consultation on the situation of Industrial Design applications.
CEO provides access to bibliographical data and to the most relevant formalities and public documents in Industrial Design applications.
