madri+d award to the Best PatentRewarding the effort on the researching job Prizes are a good way of motivating and recognising well done work. madri+d awards have been rewarding the effort on the researching job for more than a decade. This was their XII Annual and as usual a SPTO representative was part of the jury at Best Patent category. The work awarded was 'Miniature simultaneous vision simulator instrument' presented by Doctor Carlos Dorronsoro form the Spanish National Research Council (SNRC). It was also given a second prize to the patent 'Steroidal nitrones for the treatment and prevention of a cerebral stroke or ischaemia, alzheimer and parkinson disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis' by Doctor Alberto Alcázar from the Ramón y Cajal Health Research Institute (RYCHRI). We would like to congratulate all the participants for the contribution that their patents mean to the welfare and prosperity of our society. We would also want to thank the madri+d Knowledge Foundation for counting on us for such a special event.
