Course on Administrative Management of Industrial Property (Paralegals)

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) has organized one more year the Course on Administrative Management of Industrial Property (Paralegals), together with the School of Industrial Organization (EOI).

This course is held in Madrid during the months of September to November 2019, and will consist, as usual, of 5 independent modules, having been inaugurated on September 16.

As always, it is possible to apply independently for each module and this until the start date of each of them.

The aim of this course is professionals of Industrial Property Agencies, IP staff companies, Transfer Technology Offices, Technological Parks, and research Public Bodies, etc. and in general all professionals interested in the management of Industrial Property.

Its main objectives are:

• Offer the participant a theoretical and practical training in Industrial Property, inventions, distinctive signs and industrial designs.
• Provide in-depth training of all relevant aspects of Spanish protection systems.
• Provide continuous and structured training of international protection systems: European, PCT, USA, Chinese, etc.
• Promote the exchange of experiences between the different sectors involved nationally and internationally.

The course is one of the activities of the Carlos Fernández-Nóvoa Chair of Innovation and Industrial Property, whose purpose is to promote an integrated training and information system to facilitate the transfer of mutual knowledge between the company and the Universities.
