Industrial Property Summer CoursesThe Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) organizes courses at the Summer University, as usual. This year, the theme of the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) of Santander was “Patents and Technological Information as a strategic lever for Innovation and Technology Transfer". Patents, innovation and technology transfer are, without a doubt, closely linked terms and concepts. The objective of this 14th edition of the Seminar on Industrial Property of the Menéndez Pelayo University was to remark this link between patents and knowledge, innovation, and technology transfer in diverse contexts such as public policies, the international economy, business innovation or public research. And also its relationship with two issues of present and future such as Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development. SPTO has also organized in July a Summer Course in El Escorial (Madrid) by the Complutense University of Madrid that dealt with “the future challenges of Industrial Property: trademarks, regulation and impact.” More information https://www.ucm.es/cursosdeverano/programacion
