Renewal of the certificates of the Integrated Quality Management and Surveillance System of the SPTO

We already know that it is not right to fall into complacency, but, once again, we have to say that the quality of the work we do in the SPTO has been recognized.

The external audit of the Quality and Surveillance Management System of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) has been successfully completed. The SGS certification body has renewed our two certifications according to ISO 9001: 2015 and UNE 166.006: 2018, without any nonconformity. One more year, we have demonstrated both the control of established processes and the improvement of the services we provide.

The strengths that the auditor has highlighted are the following:

• Participation, knowledge of the audit process and the effort of the Organization's staff.
• The professionalism and preparation of the SPTO staff.
• The use of computer tools and their adaptation to the different processes of the Organization.
