The publication of the CIP 2021.01 in Spanish is now available

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) has recently published on its website the new version of the International Patent Classification (IPC) translated into Spanish. Take a look at the following link: IPC 2021.01 in Spanish

The IPC is subject to continuous review, which is why an updated version of it is published annually (every January 1 of each year). Among the new features of the 2021 version is the creation of the following main groups:

A61M 60/00 - Blood pumps; Devices for the mechanical drive of circulation; Balloon pumps for circulatory assistance.

B22F 10/00 - Additive manufacture of parts or articles from metallic powders.

B22F 12/00 - Apparatus or devices specially adapted for additive manufacturing; Auxiliary means for additive manufacturing; Combinations of additive manufacturing apparatus or devices with other processing apparatus or devices.

G03B 30/00 - Camera modules comprising integrated lenses and imaging units, specially adapted to be integrated into other devices, eg. mobile phones or vehicles.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) publishes the two original versions of the IPC, in French and English, and some National Offices prepare and publish the full text of the IPC in other languages accessible through the same publication.
