Conference on patent study and updating: "Patent Monday"

On November 28, another session of Patent Mondays took place at the SPTO.

Since 2001 the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) and the Patent Center of the University of Barcelona (UB), organize these conferences, two of them at the SPTO premises and two at the UB.

It is a forum for learning and discussion on patents, whose main objective is to keep patent professionals from all fields of work up to date (companies, industrial property agencies, patent offices, law firms, education), and from all specialties (technical, legal, management, etc…)

The topics discussed throughout the day were the regulatory update, with the modification of the Patent Law, the technical expert evidence, and the attribution of the ​​competence to hear the appeals against the SPTO resolutions to the commercial courts.

This conference is pro bono and free assistance.
