Special issue of Marchamos magazine on the 30th anniversary of the SPTO

During this year 2022, we celebrate the thirtieth anniversary since the creation, with its current name, of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) through Law 21/1992, of July 16, on Industry.

The celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the SPTO, framed within the SPTO's 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, has served to take stock of the progress achieved by this Organization over the last thirty years in the field of innovation and industrial property, as well as how to continue with its mission in the present and in the future of promoting innovation and sharing its results as values ​​and assets of differentiation and technological development to continue at the forefront in the provision of quality services in the field of industrial property.

The anniversary celebrations include the edition of a special issue of the magazine MARCHAMOS, in which we review the history of the SPTO and its changes throughout these 30 years.

This issue includes, among others, a few words from our recently released Director, Aida Fernández González, and a brief review by the former Directors who have led the Office throughout this period, contributions from former colleagues and other sections of interest to our readers.
