24th Annual Meeting of Regional Industrial Property Information CentersOn October 27 and 28, the 24th Annual Meeting of Regional Industrial Property Information Centers (CCRR) was held in Gijón, Asturias. During the meeting, representatives from different autonomous communities exchanged experiences with OEPM staff, discussing their activities throughout the year and sharing their views on current issues related to industrial property (IP) and the OEPM itself. They also visited the company TK ESCALATOR NORTE, where they saw some of the technical innovations that the company protects through different forms of IP protection. To kick off the meeting, a conference on software protection was held on Monday, October 27, at the AS5HUB building in the Gijón Science and Technology Park. This conference was jointly organized by SEKUENS and the OEPM and featured experts in the field of industrial and intellectual property. The presentations analyzed software protection through patents on the one hand and the possibility of software protection through intellectual property on the other. More information
