Official Bulletin of Industrial Property (BOPI) daily
The BOPI, Official Bulletin of Industrial Property, is the official publication of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) and has been published every two weeks since its creation.
Beginning in May and, in conjunction with the strategic Plan of the SPTO for adaptation to Electronic Administration, the BOPI will be published daily and consultation can be made free of charge at the SPTO webpage: www.oepm.es.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NEW BOPI
Frequency :
- The BOPI will be published daily
- It will be published everyday except on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and local holidays where it's published.
Content:
The BOPI will be structured in three Volumes:
- Volume I: Trademarks and other Distinguishing Symbols
- Volume II: Patents and Utility Models
- Volume III: Models, Drawings and Industrial Designs
All resolutions and notifications of the various modalities will be published in each Volume, just as it's been done in the bimonthly BOPI, except for alphabetical indices of title holders and applicants, and indices classified by application and concession.

Additionally, it should be pointed out that reducing the frequency of publishing various administrative acts, with the resulting ease of procedures, of course will end its current publication on CD and DVD.
