Reduction in fees for International PCT search applicable to nationals of certain states

In regards to international applications presented as of February 1, 2009, there has been a change in conditions for obtaining the 75% reduction in the international search fee to be paid to the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office as Administration for International Search. The reduction will be applied when the applicant or, in the case there's more than one, each applicant, is physical, legal and national individual or resident in a State that doesn't form part of the Convention on the Grant of European Patents, and appears classified in the list of the World Bank as a low-income, lower-middle-income and upper-middle-income economy. The relationship with States whose receiving Offices have designated the SPTO as the international Search Administration and which comply with the above-mentioned are indicated as follows:
