The State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China visits the SPTO
On September 15, a cooperation agreement between the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office was signed at the headquarters of the SPTO. The agreement was signed by the Undersecretary of Industry, Tourism and Trade as President of the SPTO and the Vice-Minister of the State Administration of China. The aim is to improve management and effectiveness of industrial property systems between the Trademark Office of the People’s Republic of China and the SPTO.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the SPTO, urgent initiatives were put forward in order to support business activity in both countries in the field of protecting Industrial Property rights.
