The tests for both examination sessions will comprise theoretical and practical assessments on the program which will be published in the before mentioned Resolution, and will pertain to knowledge on Industrial Property.

Information related to developments concerning these examination sessions is published on the Office’s website and at its Online Office. The examinations will be held in Madrid.

Those interested in participating must submit an application addressed to the General Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, accompanied by proof of payment of the examination fees.

The first exam will take place starting four months from the publication of the Resolution in the Official State Bulletin.

Once the exams have been completed, the Court designated for scoring the

candidates who reached the established minimum for passing them, and it will be published in the Official State Bulletin. Once the candidates declared suitable have presented the pertinent documents demonstrating that they fulfill the requirements for attending the exam sessions, the General Director will issue the corresponding aptitude certificates.
