Publication of the first issue of the CIBEPYME Bulletin
The first CIBEPYME bulletin has been published, providing a new channel for communication with Latin American SMEs and entrepreneurs. It forms part of the CIBEPYME Project, which was created in 2009 to promote the use of Industrial Property as a tool for competitiveness in the Latin American business sector within the framework of the Spanish Fiduciary Fund.
The spirit behind this monthly bulletin is to continue adopting new channels for interaction with SMEs and to promote greater awareness of Industrial Property. It will publish easy-to-read interviews with managers of national Industrial Property offices in Latin American countries and will also include national register statistics, curious data or cases of success in companies that use Industrial Property as a business tool. Each country will promote any news and relevant events that might be of interest for the region as a whole, as well as any interesting items that might be of use within the local community.
A point of reference
One of the cornerstones of the CIBEPYME project is the creation, development and maintenance of a Latin American Industrial Property Platform to promote the use of Industrial Property, facilitating use of the system and providing specialist services, especially to small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs.
This Platform will not only be a reference point for Latin American SMEs but will enable fast and easy sharing of any actions and tools devised by the various countries expressly for SMEs in order to speed up and consolidate access to the world of Industrial Property.
It offers information, services and free assistance (on completion of a query form) on Intellectual and Industrial Property with the aim of achieving better use of registration systems. The Platform also makes it possible to share good practices, success stories of companies that have used the registration system, awareness campaigns, news and actions taken in each of the countries.
